 The
CSZ whole body hypothermia system provides an effective alternative
to traditional patient cooling techniques. This revolutionary
system combines the CSZ Head Wrap, Patient Vest and Lower Body Blanket for a non-invasive
whole body hypothermia system. This method of cooling the
patient allows for early treatment that is fast, reliable
and cost-effective.
Recent studies for cardiac arrest, stroke and head
trauma patients indicate that whole body cooling can lead
to a reduction in long-term neurological damage. Lowering
and holding core body temperature in the 33-35°C range for
24-48 hours for these patients is becoming the standard of
care in many facilities.

| Since Off-pump CABG (coronary
artery bypass grafting or “cabbage”) patients
are difficult to keep normothermic, the head wrap was
developed to provide uninterrupted therapy throughout
the procedure. Utilizing the head wrap allows for total
and immediate access to patient. |
The CSZ Head Wrap offers an innovative, non-invasive

Lower Body Blanket
Maxi-Therm® Lite Lower Body Blanket distributes temperature
controlled water around a patient or to isolated areas of a patient's
body.
The Maxi-Therm® Lite Blanket takes cooling therapy to a new,
softer level. This blanket is soft, lightweight, and remains pliable
at its coldest temperature. It also easily attaches to hoses via
self-sealing connectors.
