ECMO Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation Blood Temperature Control System. The ECMO heater is an accurate, reliable, and safe method for maintaining blood temperature during ECMO procedures. This unit is designed for use with a heat exchanger to warm blood in applications involving neonatal, pediatric, or adult patients. Blood, water or patient temperature may also be monitored with the ECMO unit.

Compact Size
The ECMO Heater is compact and portable; it weighs just 28 lbs. (12.7 kg) and can be mounted on a stand, table, or used on a crash cart.

Easy Operation
The control panel features pressure sensitive switches and an easy-to-read LED display. The heater automatically cycles on and off to maintain setpoint water temperature.

Patient Safeties
Three high temperature safety levels continuously monitor the water temperature. In addition, once temperature setpoint is attained, if the actual water temperature varies by more than 1°C from the setpoint, the over/under setpoint alarm alerts the operator. Audible and visual alarms and the automatic power shutdown add to the system's unique protective design.
